‘TAKE 5’ DREAM NEWSLETTER #10: MARCH 2018-TOPICS INCLUDE-ANOTHER LETTER TO PRINCIPAL G. BUSTAMANTE OF BASIC ACADEMY/HS FOR THE RELEASE OF PUBLIC DOCUMENTS CONCERNING THE BASEBALL PROGRAM, PLUS OTHER TIDBITS. IF THESE TOPICS ARE OF INTEREST, CONTINUE. THANKS FOR THE LOOK & PASS IT ON.
After 2 requests for public documents from Principal G. Bustamante and no reply, the ‘Quest for the Truth of My INSANITY continues. If you are an avid reader, put on your ‘Imagination Astronaut Helmet’ and continue. This story is about 9,500 words. While doing my ‘Flotation Therapy’ in my ‘Fishbowl’, It is mid-September of 2017 in Henderson, NV, and a scene from ‘Godfather Part lll’ kept replaying on the large TV screen. Michael Corleone, The Godfather, is now a grandparent and wants out of the ‘Family Business’. Thinking that his TIME as Godfather has run its course, FORCES keep dragging him back in.
Shmoop.com describes the scene as: “In this scene, Michael finds out that he’s been double-crossed by his mafia buddies. They’re determined to mess up his big move into legitimacy. And with his words—”Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!”—Michael expresses his biggest fear. He’ll never be able to escape this life”. I can personally relate to that quote. After more than 3 arduous years on my Quest and after discovering that the CCSD Regulations under the ‘Umbrella of the State of Nevada’, legally permits and sanctions the operations of Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team on the ‘Destroyer of Dreams’ Basic Academy/HS in Henderson, NV, FORCES led me to believe that my Quest had concluded.
If you are a follower of this page, or not, a quick review needs to be inserted. After a Bizarre/Phenomenal summer of 2017 that had record breaking heat, a broken AC, loud firework noises outside my front door, my first written novel, the start of my 2nd novel, which included the antics of my 2 Pen is Pals, my 2017 College Football Pilgrimage was in tune with the projection of falling leaves. It was on my birthday that September late morning that a ‘Surprise’ awaited my BUTT. I was traveling along the freeway at 75 mph to my haircut appointment.
In my IMAGINATION, my Pen is Pals, Queen Vampyre Sonata and Queen Voodoo Vixen were entertaining my BUTT.
Warning signs about my tires were checked as my drive started after pulling over about one mile from the Dream Home. With no physical evidence to support a tire issue, my journey continued in my Dodge Diesel 2500 Mega-Cab. After a few miles on the freeway and with a ‘Grin’ on my face, Imagining about the two Queens, the rumbling started. My first reaction was it must be a road problem. Those of you reading this, has your vehicle ever experienced a ‘Blowout’ at 75 mph?
My ‘Gut & Radar’ started to kick in and the Fantasies took a back seat. In an instant, a very loud minor explosion then occurred. This was my ‘Virgin Blowout’. Instead of Fantasies, natural instincts now took command of my truck. With my truck in the far left passing lane, an extra wide emergency landing area was on my left. The truck violently rocked back and forth during the initial explosion causing my lower back to jerk violently. My right foot following the lead of my instincts pumped the brakes slowly.
The left hand had initiated the left turn signal, then both hands clasped the steering wheel. Not KNOWING how the truck would respond after a ‘Blowout’ at 75 mph, the hands of God must have joined in. Within moments, the truck came to a successful stop in the extra wide left emergency lane.
After the stop, I immediately thanked God for the minimum damage. Then a SMILE appeared on my face. Since my 2 BRAINS were in the state of Fantasizing, one could consider my ‘Virgin Blowout’ to be a ‘Birthday Gift’ from the two Queens.
Instead of popping out of a cake, BOTH of THEM sent me a ‘Virgin Blowout’ that had me jerking along with my safe stop. Eventually, they too, were thanked for my one of a kind ‘Birthday Gift’ and a safe and healthy result, which continued during the 2017 Pilgrimage.
This ‘Virgin Blowout’ also triggered thoughts about the Basic Academy/HS legal agreement with Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team. As I was relaxing during therapy in my ‘Fishbowl’, from the ‘Virgin Blowout’ that jolted my back, one word kept flashing in my Primary Brain ‘DOCUMENTS’. Prior to the ‘Virgin Blowout’ my Quest as a Taxpayer in Henderson, NV had ended with favorable results for Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox.
As ‘DOCUMENTS’ flashed, Michael Corleone, the Godfather Part lll scene repeated itself. “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!” FORCES had pulled my BUTT back into the ‘Quest for the TRUTH of My INSANITY’. The ‘Virgin Blowout’ also jogged thoughts about the Nevada’s Public Records Act. Some of you may ask, what is the Nevada’s Public Records Act. Please permit my excerpts from different websites to explain.
http://nsla.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/nslanvgov/content/Records/Public_Records/Bulletin3_PR_Manual.pdf writes:
“The Public Records Act(Act) is found in NRS Chapter 239. Nevada’s Public Records Law was enacted to ensure that government documents are available to the public. The Legislature’s intent is clear: NRS 239.001 Legislative findings and declaration. The Legislature hereby finds and declares that:
1.The purpose of this chapter is to foster democratic principles by providing members of the public with access to inspect and copy public books and records to the extent permitted by law;
2. The provisions of this chapter must be construed liberally to carry out this important purpose;
3. Any exemption, exception or balancing of interests which limits or restricts access to public books and records by members of the public must be construed narrowly; and
4.The use of private entities in the provision of public services must not deprive members of the public access to inspect and copy books and records relating to the provision of those services.
Nevada’s Public Records Act applies to “all public books and public records of a government entity, the contents of which are not otherwise declared by law to be confidential.” The records “must be open at all times during office hours to inspection by any person, and may be fully copied.” Also, “A person may request a copy of a public record in any medium in which the public record is readily available”.
* https://www.nfoic.org/coalitions/state-foi-resources/nevada-foia-laws writes: “The Nevada Open Records Act is a series of laws designed to guarantee that the public has access to public records of government bodies at all levels. Public records includes all books and records of all government entities. Anyone can request public records and there is no statement of purpose required. There are no restrictions with regard to the use of records and an individual should allow five business days for a response to a request.” Open Records Act N.R.S. 239 et seq.
* According to the Nevada Attorney General ‘s Office of Adam Paul Laxalt the following is posted on their website under a section titled ‘Public Records Request Policy’.“What is a Public Record? There is no Nevada statute that defines a public record. Generally, all books and records of a governmental entity are presumed to be public records and include information and other documents created or accumulated in the course of conducting public business that document the activities and business of public employees”.
* ACLU of Nevada states on their website: “A Primer on Nevada’s Public Records Law Chapter 239 of the Nevada Revised Statutes
Nevada’s Public Records Law was enacted to ensure that government documents are available to the public. The Legislature’s intent is clear. As NRS 239.001 says, the public records law is “to foster democratic principles.” Nevada’s Public Records law “must be construed liberally” and “any exemption, exception or balancing of interests which limits or restricts access…must be construed narrowly.”
Nevada’s Public Records Law applies to “all public books and public records of a government entity, the contents of which are not otherwise declared by law to be confidential.” The records “must be open at all times during office hours to inspection by any person, and may be fully copied.” Also, “A person may request a copy of a public record in any medium in which the public record is readily available.”
Because public records are just that, public records available to anyone, a person requesting a public record may not be asked to provide any identifying information, such as his/her name, address, whether he/she is a citizen or voter or taxpayer, why he/she wants to see the public record, or what, if anything, the public records will be used for. Journalists, scholars, or other public officials do not have any greater access to public records than any other person.
Exceptions to Nevada’s Public Records law exist. For example, local government entities are not required to disclose identifying information of a person using a recreational facility or engaging in a recreational, instructional or other event sponsored by a local government entity, unless the person seeking such a record has a valid court order, subpoena, or is a journalist”. END OF EXCERPTS
At this TIME, my knowledge of NRS 239 is sketchy at best. However, FORCES pointed my BUTT to the direction of Principal G. Bustamante for his office was the official record keeper for the Basic Academy/HS. A letter plus other Tokens, in a 6”x9” brown envelope were sent by certified/registered mail to Basic Academy/HS addressed to Principal Bustamante on 9/26/17.
My 2017 College Football Pilgrimage began the next day with a flight to Atlanta, GA. With 18 days of Pilgrimaging, it was not in my interests to check on the delivery status of my Package. It would wait until my BUTT returned with ‘Blessings & Gifts’. Plus, a reply from Principal Bustamante could be waiting in my box. After my return, there was no response from Principal B and no evidence of a green card indicating delivery by the USPS. This lack of green card has occurred before in previous C&R mailings, but a visit to the USPS website usually verified delivery.
My sights were on other issues such as completing my story of Stanford Stadium-Georgia University 10/13&14/17 for my website. It was my ‘Official Homecoming’. If you are interested in the story, it is archived in the College Football or Pilgrimage Section on my Homepage. As of this writing, it is still visible as one scrolls down the homepage.
With October fading into November, other priorities took centered stage. A story about my letter to Principal B was not planned until late November. It was not until late in the construction of the story, that my BUTT decided to visit the USPS website for verification of delivery. This is what I found. The last known date and place of existence for my ‘Package’ was “September 27, 2017, 8:56 am—Out for Delivery, Henderson, NV 89015. Later that night posted at 10:56 pm, September 27, 2017—Delivery status not updated. The delivery status for this item has not been updated as of September 27, 2017, 10:56 pm. That statement is verified as I write.
With TIME now an issue, for my story revolved around Principal B, plan B was put into action. On November 20, 2017 another identical package was sent USPS C&R mail to Principal B. USPS tracking info stated on November 21, 2017: November 21, 2017, 9:29 am—Business Closed, Henderson, NV 89015. November 21, 2017, 9:58 am—In transit to Destination, on its way to Henderson, NV 89015. The item is currently in transit to the destination as of November 21, at 9:58 am. It is on its way to Henderson, NV 89015.
Since Thanksgiving Day was 2 days away, my BUTT decided to wait until Wednesday morning, November, 29, 2017 to again check on the delivery of my package. The print out repeated the above information. With no package delivered as agreed upon with the USPS and with my story now completed for posting, a trip to the local post office took place that morning around 9am. After discussing my issues with the supervisor and presenting copies of my tracking information, she informed me that she would investigate for she knew the driver. She claimed it would take a few days and would get back to me with her findings.
Plan C was now put into action. After spending $13.81 for two botched deliveries by the USPS, my BUTT decided to roll the dice once more with the USPS. My roll of the dice cost $23.75 for guarantee next-day delivery with verification by the USPS. Verification arrived via USPS website on November 30, 2017, that my ‘Package’ was delivered. All in all, it cost $37.56 to hit my ‘Target’. As a bonus, the supervisor of the local USPS has yet to contact me about the other two missing packages. (A recent visit to USPS website still verifies that my 2nd ‘Package’ is currently in transit to the destination wherever that may be.)
Just because a ‘Target’ has a ‘Package’ delivered to them, signs would not indicate that the ‘Package’ was opened and read. With it now the Christmas Season, TIME would play a role. To be honest with you, my 1st letter was a ‘Gratitude Letter’ that included my request for certain documents. Plus, my knowledge of the Nevada Public Record Act NRS 239 was less then, than now.
With many different options on my plate including the removal of sod and the installation of ‘Bocce Ball Certified Artificial Turf’, my TIME was spent enjoying my PASSIONS including my writings to my Pen is Pals the Queen Voodoo Vixen and Queen Vampyre Sonata. January was torn of the calendar and February 2018 appeared. Principal Gerald Bustamante had not responded to my ‘Package’. With Valentine’s Day approaching, the following letter was sent, not by the USPS, but by their competitor the UPS in a next day guaranteed large UPS envelope. It was considered a ‘Valentine’s Day’ letter to Principal Bustamante. Delivery was confirmed by UPS on 2/14/18 at 9:36am, Left At: Inside Delivery and Received By: LG

Principal Gerald Bustamante
Basic Academy/High School
This is Taxpayer George N. Feher of Henderson, NV with my 2nd attempt to retrieve pertinent information concerning the operations of the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team under the direction of Scott Baker that is legally operating according to CCSD regulations on the campus of Basic Academy/HS. To be honest with you, this is actually my 4th attempt. The first two did not reach their target because of the FORCES of the US Postal Service. Two certified/registered envelopes were mailed by me, with copies of proof, one on September 26, 2017 and the second one on 11/20/17. A third was mailed by USPS overnight on 11/29/17 and delivered to your office confirmed by the USPS on 11/30/18.
While speaking with the Supervisor at the Henderson Post Office about these issues on 11/29/17, she informed me that she would check with the driver, for she knew him, about my ‘Lost Envelopes’. I placed my card in her hand and asked if she could send me a message to confirm her findings. She agreed that she would sometime the next week. As of now, my ‘Lost Envelopes’ remain lost. A trip is planned for a revisit to this Supervisor and to question her about my ‘Lost Envelopes’ and her lack of ‘Integrity’ for not sending me a message concerning something I had paid for.
As a Taxpayer, paying my school taxes in the Basic Academy/HS zone, my request for certain information concerning the above mentioned parties has not been fulfilled. Nor did you or your office contact me to point me to the right CCSD department or person that could fulfill my simple requests. If a fee is required for the copies, that can be arranged for a fair cost. Please permit me to ask, “Where on the ‘Bar of Integrity’ does Gerald Bustamante hag his hat as a Principal and so-called leader of our ‘Basic Community”? “Does it hang at the highest point”? Or does it hang at the bottom or somewhere in between”?
You are quoted in the mentioned Las Vegas Review Journal story in the 1st letter that your style of leadership as a Principal was to ‘Empower’ the Henderson Community to become involved in the policies at Basic Academy/HS. With my excitement, I eagerly when TIME permitted, accepted your offer and reached out for your assistance to secure public documents that should be accessible to the Taxpayers of Henderson, NV.
Since these documents should be presented upon request, a very simple response by you or your office for a Taxpayer’s request should be possible. If you or your office are unable to meet my requests, then could you or your office please point me to the correct CCSD person or department who can?
According to the CCSD Regulations under the ‘legal umbrella’ of the State of Nevada the operations of Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox are permitted within the regulations of the CCSD. Since, this information is of public domain, and according to the Public Information Act in the State of Nevada, these public documents should be available by request by any individual for a reasonable fee. As a Taxpayer in the Basic Academy/HS zone, if my requests continue to be denied or fall on deaf ears, a legal case of ‘obstruction’ may then be formulated.
MY REQUESTS FOR DOCUMENTATION ARE
* All signed documents between Scott Baker, the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team and the CCSD while operating on the Basic Academy/HS campus since the school year 2010-11 through the current date. These documents should include the CCSD Regulations that legally bounds the agreements between the two parties. In addition, please include any legal documents that demonstrate any financial considerations that may have exchanged hands between the two parties plus other pertinent documents relating to this matter.
* A list of all the JV & Varsity baseball team players of Basic Academy/HS from 2010-11 through the current date.
* A list of all players that contributed financially to play on the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team operated by Scott Baker on the campus of Basic Academy/HS from 2010-11 through the current date.
* A list of all the players that played on the JV & Varsity baseball team at the Basic Academy/HS from 2010-11 through the current date that did not play on the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team during the same time period.
* A copy of all financial contributions and dollar amount paid by the players/families to Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team for services rendered by Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox while operating on the campus of Basic Academy/HS from 2010-11 through the current date.
* A copy of all financial fees paid by Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team for the use of facilities at the Basic Academy/HS since 2010-11 through the current date to the CCSD and/or Basic Academy/HS.
* A list of all individuals and/or organizations that are operating under the same CCSD regulations that Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team are operating under since 2010-11 through the current date on the campus of Basic Academy/HS. Include a list of students-players/families that financially contributed and the dollar amount paid to these individuals and/or organizations for services rendered during the same time period.
Plus, include a copy of all the financial fees paid by these individual and/or organizations for the use of the facilities at Basic Academy/HS since 2010-11 through the current date the CCSD and/or Basic Academy/HS.
On to other issues concerning my rights as a Taxpayer, answers to the following questions could assist in my continuing pursuit of the ‘TRUTH’ concerning the operations of Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox Club baseball team on the campus of Basic Academy/HS on Taxpayers’ money. Before asking my questions, please permit the playing field to be leveled.
As stated before in my 1st Letter, the CCSD shows no evidence to support that this ‘Scott Baker Operation’ is Moral, Ethical and Non-Discriminatory.
My 1st Letter requested such evidence, but ‘SILENCE’ was your response. If your actions are part of your ‘Empowerment Policy’ then they do not match your words or your ‘Integrity’. The only ‘Empowerment’ that is currently on display is your ‘Empowerment’ not the ‘Empowerment’ of the Taxpayers of Henderson, NV. Again my words reach out for your help and wisdom in answering a few questions and supplying some public facts for me.
* How many varsity baseball players at Basic Academy/HS since 2010-11 through the present date have earned a college baseball scholarship?
* Please provide the names of these above mentioned players, the colleges that awarded the baseball scholarships where the player attended and played baseball, and the terms and the financial worth of the scholarship if known, from 2010-11 through the present date.
* Please provide the names of the all of the JV & Varsity baseball players from Basic Academy/HS from 2010-11 through the present date that did not earn college baseball scholarships.
It is my intent to seek the ‘Truthful’ results of the operations of Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team that are being conducted on the campus of Basic Academy/HS at Taxpayers’ expense. If evidence exists that this operation is Immoral, Unethical, and Discriminatory, then who is responsible? However, if evidence points otherwise, please submit it. As a Taxpayer in the Henderson, NV Basic Academy school zone, requesting ‘Public Information’ is my right guaranteed by the legal protection of the State of Nevada. As the Principal of Basic Academy/HS it is your duty and responsibility as a ‘Public Servant’ to comply with all ‘Laws of the State of Nevada’. I am not a ‘Law Expert’, but failure to comply, could result in putting your position as Principal at risk.
Once all requested documents are placed in my hands, then your responsibilities and duties as Principal of Basic Academy/HS will be legally completed. Again, if you and/or office are unable to provide my ‘Bold Request’ for documents, then I plead once again to please direct me to the CCSD department and individual who can.
Attached is a copy of my 1st letter to you, in case you did not receive or read it. As far as my other questions in in the first letter, your answers are voluntarily. However, your ‘SILENCE’ would then indicate ‘CONSENT’. If you are reading this, then my ‘Target’ was hit. Please note the change of delivery system to get the results that I wanted. One final question.
If the Bustamante family was living during this current time instead of the past with the same economic challenges, would Gerald’s family be able to afford the extra ‘FEES’ for Gerald to play baseball at Basic Academy/HS? When you reach a KNOWING, then perhaps you can personally inform me of your KNOWING.
Is the current baseball program at Basic Academy/HS Unethical, Immoral, Discriminatory or not? Once your findings are submitted to me, then my business with you and your office is officially completed.
Taxpayer

END OF LETTER
For those of you who did not read my 1st Letter to Principal Bustamante and wish to do so, three options are available. One, you can visit my previous story Dream Newsletter #9 that was posted on our Facebook page in December, 2017. Two, visit my website at playinyourdreams.com and scroll down the Homepage where a ‘Storybook’ copy of this story and Dream Newsletter #9 are posted. Three, a reprint of Letter #1 can be found at the end of this story.
The SILENCE of Principal Bustamante mixed with TIME has added up to KNOWINGS. If any of you reading this disagree, or would care to voice your thoughts, please contact my BUTT @ playinyourdreams51@gmail.com. This is what I KNOW.
Principal Bustamante, with his SILENCE, is in violation of the Nevada Public Record Act NRS 239 by not responding to my request of public documents that should be on file in his office on the ‘Destroyer of Dreams’, harbored on the campus of Basic Academy/HS. According to the website http://nsla.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/nslanvgov/content/Records/PublicRecords/Bulletin3_PR_Manual.pdf, it is stated: A person responsible for public records access who fails to give reasonable access to or inspection of public records as required by the Act may be disciplined in accordance with the agency’s Prohibitions and Penalties, up to and including dismissal.
The same website further states: NRS 239.310 Removing, injuring or concealing public records and documents. A person who willfully and unlawfully removes, alters, mutilates, destroys, conceals or obliterates a record, map, book, paper, document or other thing filed or deposited in a public office, or with any public officer, by authority of law, is guilty of a category C felony and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130.
Since two requests for public records/documents has been submitted to Principal Bustamante, his SILENCE that has exceeded 5 Business Days in both requests, could be argued to represent two violations of the of NRS 239. I am not a law expert, but the State Laws of Nevada have been violated twice by Principal Bustamante.
As my reflections take my BUTT back to the beginning of my Quest for the Truth of My INSANITY, it started with the request of Public Documents. However, FORCES then guided my BUTT to explore the legal partnership of Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team and Basic Academy/HS. After more than 3 years on my Quest, signs indicated that this agreement was legal according to the State of Nevada and the CCSD Regulations. If that statement is TRUE, then legal, public documents of the partnership between Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team with Basic Academy/HS should be on file in the Principal’s office at Basic Academy/HS. This is the ‘Point of Origin’.
As a former CCSD employee as a teacher, my experience permits my BUTT to explain certain operations of the CCSD and Public Records. For each new calendar school year, new contracts for all CCSD employees and public documents between outside vendors and individual CCSD schools must be signed by all parties and placed on file within each CCSD school. Without a signed legal contract, employees of the CCSD would not be permitted on campus to perform their duties resulting in no pay for the CCSD employee. If a Principal permitted such a violation of an individual to work on campus without a signed agreement for that school year, that Principal and employee would be in violation of the CCSD law and subject to the penalties.
The same concept but with different contracts and CCSD documents also applies to outside vendors that supply a service, product or both to that particular CCSD school. A number of these ‘outside vendors’ may include in their contracts or documents, a fee to be paid to that CCSD school for permission to do business on the CCSD school’s campus. These fees could be a set fee or a fee based on the percentages of income earned by the vendor.
Examples include, but are not limited to the following: Vending machine operators, Photography companies for school pictures, Yearbook companies, High School Ring companies, Caps & Gowns companies, School Fund Raising companies, and Other Companies that supply additional outside products or services. The common thread that these examples are stitched with includes a legal binding contract or signed CCSD documents between the Principal or Authorized person at that CCSD school and the ‘outside vendor’, which should be on file in the Principal’s office at that particular CCSD school.
Also included with certain ‘outside vendors’ is an exchange of payment between the students and staff of that particular school and the ‘outside vendors’ for their services, products or both. With one’s payment, a receipt is generated to track the exchange of payment. In my experience, this receipt was usually a double or triple copy. The ‘Payee’ would receive one copy for their records, and the ‘outside vendor’ and/or the CCSD school would have the other copy for their records. The ‘Payee’ had proof of purchase and the other copies provided the results of the fees of the transaction for public records.
According to the Regulations of the CCSD all financial transactions between its individual schools and students, staff, plus ‘outside vendors’ must be documented. The failure to document these ‘financial transactions’ is against certain CCSD Regulations. Without these CCSD Regulations, how would the act of ‘Checks & Balances’ be enforced? Without them, Principals at CCSD schools could theoretically sent up a ‘special fund’ that could fill their own pockets or the pockets of others.
For this and other reasons is why the State Legislature of Nevada in their wisdom passed the Nevada Public Record Act NRS 239 so that individuals can examine public records and hold those in public service accountable for their decisions and actions. From my ‘Fishbowl’ here in Henderson, NV, my tiny fish arms now wave a new banner for the Quest of the TRUTH of My INSANITY. My banner reads ‘SECURE THE DOCUMENTS’. Once the Public Documents between Scott Baker, the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team and Basic Academy/HS, has been secured, my QUEST may finally come to an end or not.
Certain questions remain unanswered such as, why is Principal Bustamante violating the Nevada Public Record Act NRS 239 by not replying to my requests of public records that exist on the Destroyer of Dreams? In doing so, according to the NRS 239, he is putting his position as Principal in jeopardy. Even though Principal Bustamante did not setup the original agreement between Basic Academy/HS and Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team back in 2010-11, he is currently the Admiral in charge of the Destroyer of Dreams.
He has in his power to discontinue what others, including this journalist, in the Henderson Community have perceived as being an Immoral, Unethical, and Discriminatory ‘Outside Vendors’ operation conducting business on the campus of Basic Academy/HS on the ‘Dime’ of Henderson Taxpayers. Since the Southern NV Bluesox and Scott Baker still conducts business as an ‘Outside Vendor’, Admiral Bustamante with his signature has granted his permission for this perceived Immoral, Unethical, and Discriminatory ‘Outside Vendor’ to operate on the Destroyer of Dreams.
Part of my reasoning for requesting these ‘CCSD Public Records’ from Basic Academy/HS is to witness for my BUTT, the signatures of all the past, and present Principals of Basic Academy/HS that signed off for this perceived Immoral, Unethical, Discriminatory ‘Outside Vendor’ operation of Scott Baker and the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team to conduct business on the once known ‘Battle Ship of Hope & Dreams’, which has now become known as the ‘Destroyer of Dreams’. As written before in my stories, numerous reports of ‘Shattered Dreams’ of the young men in our Basic Academy/HS community were told to me as I floated by the shores of the Henderson Community Harbors in my ‘Fishbowl’.
Financial considerations prevented many young men of the Basic Academy/HS school zone from playing baseball at Basic Academy/HS. Some families could not afford, as claimed by others, the ‘Exorbitant Extortion Fees’ and some families refused to be ‘Extorted’ to play high school baseball. However, a phrase associated with P.T. Barnum comes to mind, ‘There is a sucker born every minute’. A number of parents/families, past and present lined up to pay the so-called ‘Exorbitant Extortion Fees’ in order to be given an opportunity to play high school baseball for the ‘Destroyer of Dreams’.
It was later discovered on my Quest for the Truth of My INSANITY that these parents, players and families were infected by the ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’. Promises of ‘College Baseball Scholarships’ along with many other promises were included in this ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’. Whether all these promises were fulfilled or not by this ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ only those who were ‘Stupid Enough’ to pay would KNOW.
As with all stories, this one too is coming to an end but not until another trip into our IMAGINATION. ‘IMAGINATION’ is the most powerful tool that a human being has. It would best be described as in the following KNOWING. ‘Anything not found in Nature, for Nature according to one’s belief was either a creation of the IMAGINATION of the ‘Evolution of Nature’ and/or the creation of the IMAGINATION of God; has been the result of some human being’s IMAGINATION’.
Queen Voodoo Vixen and Queen Vampyre Sonata as my Pen is Pals, permit my personal writings to them, with my 2 BRAINS to sometimes play the ‘Game of Pretend’. For those opportunities, my GRATITUDE has always been expressed to them. Today is another day for the ‘Game of Pretend’. As with the 2 Queens, sometimes the ‘Game of Pretend’ is played with the question, ‘What If’?
‘What If, during the changing of the Admirals on the Destroyer of Dreams, for there have been 3 since 2010-11, all CCSD public documents involved in the CCSD Regulations governing the legal agreement of the ‘Outside Vendor’, Scott Baker, the Southern NV Bluesox club baseball team and Basic Academy/HS were not signed by all parties involved? What If the record keeping of all ‘financial transactions’ are incomplete’?
‘What If’ the above ‘What If’ is True. If ‘What If’ is the TRUTH, then ‘What If’ the result is ‘FRAUD & CORRUPTION’? If FRAUD & CORRUPTION is the RESULT, then which parties would be held accountable for FRAUD & CORRUPTION in the CCSD and on the ‘DIME’ of the Taxpayers in the City of Henderson’?
Let me begin my closure by writing the following words, ‘THE TRUTH OF THE CCSD LEGAL PUBLIC DOCUMENTS BETWEEN BASIC ACADEMY/HS AND SCOTT BAKER, PLUS THE SOUTHERN NV BLUESOX CLUB BASEBALL TEAM IS IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS STORED ON THE CAMPUS OF BASIC ACADEMY/HS IN HENDERSON, NV IN THE OFFICE OF PRINCIPAL GERALD BUSTAMANTE. THIS IS WERE THE DOCUMENTS ORIGINATED WITH THE SIGNATURE OF THE PRINCIPAL IN CHARGE SINCE 2010-11’.
As a Taxpayer in the Basic Academy/HS school zone, it is my right under the Nevada Public Record Act NRS 239 to request public records and then to receive a reply within 5 business days of my request. To demonstrate that my INTEGRITY & HONOR remains within the harmony of my soul, one final request for the release of these public records stored in the office of Admiral Bustamante on the Destroyer of Dreams will be sent by my BUTT during the run of this ad on Facebook. If a response is not provided to me by Admiral Bustamante within 5 business of my request, Principal Bustamante will again be in violation of the Nevada Public Record Act NRS 239 for the third TIME as in 3 strikes, you are out.
The Virtue of Fortitude will be my fuel as the Quest of the Truth of My INSANITY continues. Vocabularly.com describes FORTITUDE as,
“Fortitude refers to strength in the face of adversity or difficulty. Eating fried worms might require a lot of intestinal fortitude.
When someone has fortitude it means that they have emotional power or reserves and the ability to withstand adversity. People who have fortitude are described in an admiring way for their courage and this word comes from the Latin word fortitudo, meaning “strength.” Jacueline Bisset, someone who knows about beauty, said, “Character contributes to beauty. It fortifies a woman as her youth fades. A mode of conduct, a standard of courage, discipline, fortitude and integrity can do a great deal to make a woman beautiful.” END of STATEMENT
After 3 plus years on my Quest, my FORTITUDE is ‘Battle Tested’ and prepared to lead my BUTT on wherever my Quest for the Truth of My INSANITY takes it. Others will have to determine if their ‘Fortitude’ can match my BUTT’S FORTITUDE. TIME will tell that story.
Speaking of TIME, below my sign-off is Principal Gerald Bustamante 1st letter. If TIME permits, please continue, or come back for another helping when TIME allows. Also, if TIME grants, you can access through my website at playinyourdreams.com my December 2017 Dream Newsletter #9 that also includes Megan, Nick’ Sister, and her friend, Kate harrowing escape during the ‘Evil of the Route 91 Festival’.
My thanks go to all that support this page and to the followers of my INSANITY. Due to other commitments, Queen Voodoo Vixen and Queen Vampyre Sonata my 2 Pen is Pals were not available to supply my 2 BRAINS with Inspiration, Stimulation, and Guidance for this story.

Batgirl, aka, QVS was drawn away for another ‘Gig’. She requested not to be disturbed as she plays her Cello navigating the relationship with her ‘boy-toy’. The 4 Pillars of what constitutes a ‘Healthy Relationship’ was part of her navigations. An extended evaluation was needed to examine the foundations of Integrity, Intimacy, Insanity, and Infinite Wisdom, the 4 Pillars of a Healthy Relationship. If all 4 Pillars are not of equal solid footings for a Healthy Relationship, the results will cause an Unhealthy Relationship.
Danigirl, aka, QVV, was also invited to her own personal ‘Top Secret Mission’. In her IMAGINATION, she is playing the role of the ‘Mystery Woman’ and prefers to be a ‘Mystery’.
When it became a KNOWING that QVV & QVS would not be available for this story, my BUTT reached out to 2 other Queens from my past to provide the Inspiration, Stimulation, and Guidance for this story. Their response signaled approval for their participation. Writing to Pen is Pals for their Guidance & Wisdom is full of Blessings and Gifts as my thoughts and words bounce off of them. Though we met some TIME ago in the ‘Magical Castle, these 2 Queens provided my 2 BRAINS with Inspiration, Guidance, and Stimulation back in 2016 during my Quest for the Truth of my INSANITY. Though TIME has separated us physically, it has not dampened my thoughts of them for each remains in my morning prayers.
My GRATITUDE for Queen Esther of Arizona and Queen Jacquie of Colorado for their contributions is sent out by my BUTT to them. If photos and images interest you, please check out our Facebook ‘New Photo Album Dream Newsletter #10’ at Nick Feher ‘TAKE 5’ Foundation. The pics are from Memorial Stadium at Clemson University on 10/6&7/17 and are posted along with images posted on my website for Dream Newsletter #10. Pictures can speak 10,000 words or more.
Remember to Promote, and Share the Dreams of Others. Above all, Protect Your Dreams and show others How to Protect Their Dreams. Feel Free to share my INSANITY with others.

* NEXT IS THE 1ST LETTER SENT TO PRINCIPAL BUSTAMANTE THAT WAS DELIVERED
11/29/17
Principal Gerald Bustamante
Basic Academy/High School
My name is George Feher. As a resident in the Basic zone since 1979, a former Teacher with the CCSD, and as the Executive Officer of the Nick Feher ‘TAKE 5’ Foundation, please permit me to extend a ‘Welcome Back’ and congratulations for being named Principal at your alma mater. Time has finally permitted me to write to you after reading and keeping the excellent article in the Las Vegas RJ, Henderson View, dated June 29, 2017.
In the article, there were plenty of accolades to choose from to acknowledge your contributions to the Henderson Community, both in the past, but also your plans for the future. Your sister Maria Bustamante Szydelko is quoted, “We’ve always been a part of the community, so to see Gerald go back and give back like that is amazing”.
You are personally quoted as saying, “Being part of this community growing up and coming into high school being a minority also, I had to learn to navigate. I think some people are able to on their own, but then others may not have learned how to do that. That’s where school comes in”.
The story goes on to tell quite a tale of you being the youngest of three children to parents Juan and Yolinda Bustamante immigrants from Mexico. Your sister Maria assisted with the parent-teacher conferences that your mother attended, while your dad worked 15 hours a day at the Nevada Test Site to support your family. To honor your sister, you have personally set up a $500 College Scholarship in her name in 2014.
It is called the Maria Bustamante Szydelko Inspiration Scholarship and is available for Hispanics students at Basic and Global Community High School. Applicants are required to write a 200-300 word essay on how they have or intend to inspire others, plus other tidbits.
Your sister Maria continued to sing your praises, “Gerald cares about the students. He cares about the community. I saw him moving up, and I told him, ‘This is you. This is meant for you”’. It was also noted that you played baseball at Basic HS and parlayed your free high school baseball experience, to play baseball in college. That was quite an achievement. Your hard work ethic was spelled out in the story. As a library aide in one of the lowest paying jobs in the CCSD, it was your determination and hard work, plus your Dreams that placed you in your current position.
Let me end this segment with a quote by Alex Meyer the writer of the story. “Since returning to Basic, Bustamante has remembered the importance of tradition and letting students discover who they are with a support system around them”. Your last quote is, “My philosophy is to remove obstacles from my teachers so they can become successful. For me, it’s How can I allow everyone—my teachers, my students, the community—to feel empowered?”.
As a community member, please accept my token of Gratitude for allowing members of the community to ‘feel empowered’ especially, since the CCSD has established ‘Community Based Schools’. With your invitation of ‘empowerment’, please permit me to continue.
For a hobby, my PASSION turned to writing. Currently, I write on two different media outlets. One is on Facebook at the Nick Feher ‘TAKE 5’ Foundation. The other is my personal website at playinyourdreams.com. With Integrity & Honor as my writing companions, this correspondence will become part of a future story on our media sites. My Facebook stories average over 2,000 readers both locally and throughout the country.
My mailing of this letter, registered and certified to you leaves a paper trail. Whether you choose to read it or not is your choice. The choice to respond to this letter or not will be entirely your choice. My reading audience, which includes teachers from Basic High School, other local high schools, more CCSD employees, plus other prominent members of our community, will be able to formulate their own opinions from the results of my writings.
Recently, this past spring of 2017, the ‘Quest for the Truth of My Insanity’ returned HOME to port. My Odyssey lasted over two years. What I discovered during my Quest, is that a ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ has infested to epidemic proportions the once proud Basic HS ‘Ship of Hope & Dreams’.
As a former minority student, you experienced this ‘Ship of Hope & Dreams’. Now this ‘Ship of Hope & Dreams’ has been turned into by your previous successors a ‘Destroyer of Hope & Dreams’. This ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ infestation began in the school year 2010-2011 with the hiring of your current head baseball coach Scott Baker.
Please, group me in the category of those who are Grateful that Basic HS has won the past two state baseball titles. My writings document my DREAMS of helping to bring back a state baseball to ‘Ye Olde Henderson, NV. Those DREAMS started back in 2009-2010 at the Basic HS Baseball Banquet, which I challenged the Baseball Crowd to win a state title during my talk and continued at other events through 2015.
I too set up a $500 cash scholarship with the help of our community for a senior baseball player at Basic HS in memory of Our Son, Brother and Friend, Nick Feher. Because of my ‘Truthful Writings’ about this ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’, after years of rewarding, our $500 cash scholarship was no longer welcomed preventing a senior baseball player from earning it to help pursue his DREAMS. Unless it has been removed, there is a Perpetual Plaque in your trophy case honoring the recipients of this prestigious award. Unlike your sister’s scholarship, adults stripped the opportunity for a student to earn the award.
If your time permits, the community under the leadership of Chis Schulte and his family planted Nick’s Memorial Tree and Home Plate Plaque near the first base line. I will be honest with you. I too, drank from the ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ during the early command of captain Scott Baker on the then newly rechristened ‘Destroyer of Hope & Dreams’. Not only did I drink from it, our Foundation’s charitable donations contributed to its growth. I heard pleas from community members as I sailed in my ‘Fishbowl’ in the seas that surround our shores.
Some shared their tales of ‘Discrimination’ for lack of funds to play baseball on the new Destroyer. Others shouted and whispered that the DREAMS of their sons to play free baseball at Basic HS had now been ‘DESTROYED’ by captain Baker and then Admiral Bechtel. It was prior to the start of the 2015 baseball season that the ‘Lack of Integrity’ of Scott Baker raised its head for the third time. To my ‘Stupidity’ Admiral Bechtel supported it.
During my Quest, other ‘Discriminations’ were uncovered, including ‘Discrimination’ of Coaches, Teachers, and other Staff at Basic HSA. It has recently come to my attention that this ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ has caused your coaches, teachers, and staff to be blinded and deafened to this ‘Discrimination’ because the CCSD in their wisdom supports this ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ with a ‘Stupid Regulation’ that us community members and others do not understand.
My ‘Quest’ of over two years, which started at Basic HS, led to stops at the CCSD School Board, including Trustee Wright, CCEA, American Civil Liberty Union, City of Henderson, every media outlet in Las Vegas, plus a revisit to media outlets, which concluded at the state capital of NV. My PASSION was fueled by this adventure for it was written about on my media sites. As a taxpayer, it bewilders me why a club baseball program can exist on taxpayers’ money at Basic HSA.
There is no disagreement that my Quest discovered that this club baseball program, operated by Scott Baker is legal according to the ‘Stupid Regulations’ of the CCSD. However, nowhere did my results uncover that this club baseball program is moral and ethical.
I encourage you to read the following two articles written in the Las Vegas Review Journal. It is a story that involved the baseball program at CSN a few years back. Your current head baseball coach was a central character in the article that led to the penalties against the CSN baseball program.
The articles were penned by David Schoen, https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/csn-baseball-coach-under-scrutiny/ and https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/college-of-southern-nevada-baseball-losing-20-scholarships/.
Next is a short quote from the story, “First-year College of Southern Nevada baseball coach Chris Sheff is the subject of an in-house investigation regarding allegations that include whether players were inappropriately charged for a mandatory conditioning program. Former major league player David Segui, whose son was recruited to play at CSN out of Kansas City, Kan., by Chambers, said his son brought his own food and refused to pay. “The money isn’t the issue, the principle is,” Segui said. “I’m more concerned for the other kids. They flat-out robbed kids of money they don’t even have.”
Segui said he flew to Las Vegas when he heard the allegations and does not plan to leave until the coaching situation at CSN is resolved. “My son plays. This isn’t about playing time or a bitter parent nagging because their son isn’t hitting cleanup,” Segui said. “I’m concerned with some of the things my kid is being exposed to in this program. As a parent, it’s my responsibility to find out if the stuff I’m hearing is true. It would be irresponsible as a parent if I didn’t.”
Sheff was fired Nov. 3 without ever coaching a game at the school. His dismissal came one day after the school announced it would conduct an independent review of the baseball program to look into numerous allegations against Sheff and his coaching staff, including whether players were inappropriately charged for a mandatory conditioning program with personal trainer Corky Field of Live-In Fitness.
In a letter to Byrd detailing the NJCAA’s ruling, executive director Mary Ellen Leicht wrote that while there was no evidence to prove the $125 for the program was mandatory, “Any time a coach highly recommends his/her student-athletes take part in a program it is normally regarded as ‘mandatory’ in the eyes of the player.” Leicht also wrote that because the program was negotiated by Sheff and offered only to student-athletes, it was considered an “inducement and outside of the allowable scholarship limits,” which constitutes a violation of NJCAA bylaws.
A fundraising activity conducted by Field in which players sent a letter to family and friends asking for donations to help pay for the conditioning program was also deemed a violation of NJCAA bylaws, according to Leicht’s letter. In addition, the NJCAA ruled that an after-practice meal program arranged by assistant coach Scott Baker was a violation”.
As the new Admiral of Basic HSA with history on your side, how would you compare the current club baseball program on your campus to that of the above-mentioned CSN baseball program? Are there any similarities? When my readers read this, it is quite obvious that there are a few. Each program was declared legal within the ‘Stupid Regulations’ of each governing body. However, it was the perception of each program that classified each of them as Unethical and Immoral. Yes, the CSN baseball received penalties from the NJCAA, but Basic HSA club baseball program continues to receive a free pass to operate.
According to the ‘Stupid CCSD Regulation’, that grants permission to this Immoral, Unethical, and Discriminatory club baseball program to operate on your campus, it states that all financial information concerning this club baseball team should be available to taxpayers to examine. Is that true? If so, how does one request this information? Would your office have this on file or is it stored at the central office of the CCSD?
It is also indicated in this ‘Stupid CCSD Regulation’ that an entity operating under it, has to state in writing to the principal on campus the purpose of the operation and the benefits that this entity will produce for the community and its students. Would this be available from your office, since your signature has to approve this Immoral, Unethical, and Discriminatory Practices of this club baseball team, the Southern NV Blue Sox to operate with taxpayers’ money on the campus of Basic HSA?
Exactly what benefits if any, does the Southern NV Blue Sox offer us taxpayers and the sons of parents who cannot afford this ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ to play baseball at Basic HSA? Let us go back a few years when Gerald Bustamante played baseball at Basic HS. Did you and your hard working immigrant parents have to pay for the ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ to play baseball at Basic HS? If you had to, how many more hours beyond 15, would your dad have had to work for you to PLAYIN YOUR DREAMS?
Or would your hard working parents had to tell you, ‘Gerald, as a family, though your Dreams are important, at this time we cannot and will not support the ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ for it is Immoral, Unethical and Discriminatory and we have no one to report it to for the principal is the judge and jury and he supports this Immoral, Unethical, Discriminatory practices.
This is what I KNOW after my Quest. To play baseball at Basic HSA, it is estimated that the cost per player for the ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ for 4 years exceeds $20,000 or the cost of a college education at CSN or Nevada State College with the Millennium Scholarship. If a baseball player is fortunate to earn a college baseball scholarship that is equal to or greater than $20,000, then the player benefited from this program. If not, can you please then explain the benefits?
Scott Baker yearly income based on facts is estimated on the low side to be over $125,000 a year. If so, then Scott Baker in 7 years has earned about $875,000 on taxpayers’ money and the money from ‘Stupid Parents’ under the influence of the ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’.
Directors of the local Boys & Girls Club right down the street from your Destroyer of Hope & Dreams have confessed to me about their members being discriminated against from playing baseball at Basic HSA. The reason is their parents cannot afford this ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’. With other families in the community unable to pay or of ‘sane mind’ like your parents have encouraged their sons to take up other free sports offered at Basic HSA.
If this club baseball program is not discriminatory, please answer the following questions for my readers.
* Why does a head club baseball coach with no college degree and responsible for about 35 players make more money than your teachers at Basic HSA with a college degree and responsible for over 200 students on their attendance rolls? (Do you realize, your head baseball coach with no college degree earns more than twice the starting salary of a new teacher?)
* Why is not this same ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ offered to all the coaches of the other sports at Basic HSA?
* Why is not this same ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ offered to all the teachers of Basic HSA for after school activities?
* Why is not this same ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ offered to all the staff of Basic HSA for after school activities?
If you choose to remain SILENT on my questions, or by your actions then your ‘SILENCE’ gives consent for the ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ to continue. If that be the case, all one has to do is reread your words from the story in the Henderson View to draw their own conclusions. In most of my writings, it is my attempt to lead my readers to think, without drawing my own conclusions. However, my writings permit me to theorize about potential results. As in your case, my theory for the ‘Dilemma of Gerald Bustamante’ would be this. News Flash, Gerald B, recently returned to his alma mater to accept the helm of the once proud ‘Ship of Hope & Dreams’, only to discover it has been named the ‘Destroyer of Hope & Dreams’. Unknown to him before accepting the Admiral job, a ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ of epic magnitude had encased his ship and the surrounding community. An Immoral, Unethical, and Discriminatory club baseball program was permitted, by previous Admirals to peddle their ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ to the baseball sons and parents of the Basic Community.
Some ‘Stupid Parents’ agreed to pay this ‘Stupid Fee’. Others disagreed, with others not able to pay this ‘Immoral & Unethical Fees’. Gerald, this is now where you stand on your ‘Road Not Taken’. Your words above are etched in stone for all to bear witness to. Your words speak of you being a minority from hard working parents who emigrated to our country from Mexico. Your father worked 15 hours a day for you to PLAYIN YOUR DREAMS. Your sister says this is where you belong.
Hard work and with the help of others have led you to this point in TIME. You claim you want others to ‘feel empowered?’ If that is true, then can you please explain how you plan on ‘Making a Difference’ in the lives of others that are currently having their Hope & Dreams being Destroyed by captain Baker?
If Scott Baker remains as the current head baseball coach at Basic HSA and if the Southern NV Blue Sox is permitted to continue to operate on your campus at the expense of the taxpayers of Henderson, then your and your sister’s words above were spoken and written without Integrity & Honor. Without Integrity & Honor to lead, others will view you as a leader minus those virtues.
The entire CCSD KNOWS about this Immoral, Unethical, and Discriminatory baseball program at Basic HSA. Your teachers, coaches and other staff are ridiculed by others in the Las Vegas Valley for lacking the courage to stand up for their dignity as Educators and Professionals. They have permitted this ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ to stifle their own self-worth in the community. Students that attend Basic HSA also read my Facebook page. They witness first hand that the ‘Strength of the Wolf’ no longer runs in a pack, for it is now controlled by Scott Baker the lead wolf for his income far exceeds all others perhaps even your income.
How many other non-CCSD part-time employees with no college education have free reign over all the facilities at Basic HSA? How many Basic HSA teachers have free access to all of the facilities on campus after hours?
I leave you with one final question, ‘Will Gerald Bustamante after a thorough investigation of Scott Baker and the Southern NV Blue Sox find that this ‘Magical Muck of Stupidity’ is Immoral, Unethical and Discriminatory or not?
I look forward to your response or your SILENCE. With your permission, or not, your response and or your SILENCE will be part of a future story on my media sites. Enclosed, is a copy of our Brochure and Wristbands that were handed out during my ‘TAKE 5’ presentation a few years ago at Basic HSA. It was declared ‘Rock Star’ status by part of the freshman class. Though, the teacher invited me back the following year, my truthful words about the Basic HSA baseball program prevented my invitation. Admiral Bechtel denied the teacher’s request.
Included is a copy of ‘TAKE 5’ GEMS. May they provide you with the wisdom and guidance as they have done for many others including myself. My email is listed below. Thank you for your valuable TIME.
